Hey,
Here we go a blogging :)
Working on Saturdays again :( Porting cylinderheads, modding camshaft synchs, writing performance software code, you know, the usual stuff…
We’re all looking forward to the March 20th TX2K8 event! The more the merrier. It was formerly known as the Supra Nats, but is now becoming a very strong Porsche event. let’s have some fun!
I’d like to thank Dan at Vividracing for all the work on the website. We still have lots of stuff to put up for products, services, etc, but it’s come a long way from the old one :)
Thanks Dan.

  1. Really cool new website! And thanks for the wonderful upgrade to my 993TT. 95,000 miles and tons of power with no mechanical issues on an upgrade done at 25K. Need to run 100 octane these days because of so much ethanol in the California pump gas, but otherwise nothing but good times with my 560 hp “baby” Protomotive car ;) Thanks to Todd and Cynthia for a great build. mark

  2. Great new website! BTW, my 993TT now has 96K and is still running great with no mechanical issues. So much for the rumors about “after market” changes to these cars. The Protomotive upgrade gave me a more reliable car with an extra 160 hp (not for the faint of heart even at 560 hp). Too much ethanol in the California pump gas these days to run 91, but 100 octane Torco solves the problem. Thanks again to Todd and Cynthia for a great build. Looking forward to doing a GT2 in the near future ;)

  3. Great website. Just stopped by as my 997TT Tip is currently at Protosport in NJ and having your magic applied. (ECU, Springs etc) Your rep on 6Speed and via Paul at Protosport convinced me you were indeed the only game in tow. I cannot wait to get it back. I cannot imagine how it can make an already outstanding machine even more incredible.

  5. Hi..Todd and David,

I am from 6speed as well…getting 997 TT this week…I think Adam your son or may be its opposite way ( I aa not sure sorry) had forwarded ME to Paul Protosport as well…and I want to have G30R conversion to be done on my 997 TT Tips…is that possible ???

I’ve spoked a lot to my polish friend Markski a lot about modification for Porsche and he always said that Promotive is the best and that i should go with them, since they are the only one who will be able to help ME to do it porperly and if anything goes wrong to fix it…

The car will go to Russia after mods ))) It will be 1st Porsche with US Porche tuning here and I want most powerful and yet reliable set up…Sorry to to hijack this topic…

Unfotunately Pauls Protosport e-mail isnt working…so I need to know what is possible to do with my car as well…amd how fast it can be done…

I will also try to e-mail to get some more info…pardon for my English

    Kind Regards,

    Michael

  6. Hey Michael… yep I am David’s son and I can say you have found the right place for your 997tt mods! I am seriously blown away by how much faster my old man’s tt is now! It is like night and day between stock and chipped. I can only imagine how even more insane it would be with an exhaust and the modded VTG turbos…. hopefully next year the old man will add both those parts. I saw the pics of you new car on 6speed and congrats! It looks amazing!!!!

Thank you Todd for you excellent work on my Dads car! The first time we floored it we just started laughing like children and we have yet to wipe the grins off our faces. The only problem is now my M Coupe feels like it is broken because that turbo has changed my idea of what is fast!

  7. That’s awesome Adam and Michael :)
We’ve just updated the compressors again to a billet wheel and can mod the turbine for even more performance!
